The Emotional Nature of Leo Moon

Those with their Moon Sign in Leo often enjoy being the center of attention. This is even more apparent when Leo Moon is within an environment that they feel comfortable in such as their homes. Since their image is of the utmost importance, they’re not as prone to displaying their big personalities in public unless they’ve developed a great sense of confidence in their public persona. This is because social status and image holds such a profound sense of self-value to Leo moon folk.

It’s often that they take on leadership roles and since they’re natural organizers, it isn’t uncommon to see a Leo Moon organizing the lives or routines of their friends, family members or even colleagues. They’re known to be a tad bossy despite their sense of justice and this often enhances their leadership qualities since they have no issues in working with subordinates or delegating tasks to others. The placement of the Moon here often gives natives profound talents in taking initiative but it also has the tendency to make the native lazy in following through with their initial intentions in orchestrating projects and completing the tasks that they had set out to do.

Moon in Leo natives require a lot of love in order to thrive. They possess a tendency to be dramatic when challenged and are prone to sulking when they feel they’ve failed.

Many consider Leo Moon people to be vain and that is because of the high importance that they place upon their image. Nevertheless, their big personalities tend to gain them plenty of attention and admiration. This leads the native to popularity and strong social skills. They are easy to reason with and work alongside but their passionate natures can be a bit overbearing at times. They are idealist and they will support an idea that they truly believe in regardless of opposition they encounter. However, even if a Leo Moon is vain or even self-centered, they do tend to be rather loyal and quite generous. Their generosity might even strike recipients of their efforts and attention as being overwhelming but they absolutely have zero intolerance for ungratefulness and tend to have no problem pointing it out.

One of the biggest downfalls of the Moon in Leo is their pride and their ego. Their ego tends to lead to their pushy behavior and desire to take control over every situation. They’re not unlike Scorpios in their pursuit of power or Capricorns in their pursuit of status. Those with Moon in Leo also tend to be stubborn and it could be one of their traits that aid in their success of obtaining precisely what it is that they want.

The natives of Moon in Leo tend to be very protective of their personal liberties and those of others with the exception of love relationships. They tend to be jealous and possessive of their partners and desire affirmation of mutual loyalty from the demonstration of their lover’s endearment. Since pride is a major Leo trait, the pain of a breakup might actually effect their pride or ego much more than it actually hurts their heart.

This does tend to be a rather stubborn placement for the moon and given that, the native doesn’t usually compromise too well. They are often intolerant to advice that doesn’t resonate with their own ideas but are often prone to giving advice often. This placement gives the native a tremendous amount of self-confidence in their own ideas. They’re also not too big on gambling or taking unprecedented risks. This is even greater an influence if witness of their failure is a prospect.

The Moon in Leo also can be materialistic, not afraid of responsibilities and filled with grace and honor. They’re able to maintain face when approached with challenges or the adversities in life. When they’ve encountered good fortune, their generous streak often prompts them to share their good fortune with others. Furthermore, this is another sign that is often found with artistic abilities or a tremendously well-developed fashion sense.
